Gold's Gym Venice Shutting Down?!

 You may have heard the rumors than the Venice Gold's Gym might have to move!  Don't worry though they say that they will either stay at the current location or find a place extremely close by before the lease is up in 2014.  Here is the official letter issued.

Dear Gold's Gym Venice members,

We wanted to take a moment to directly address the recent rumors about Gold's Gym Venice and our current lease situation.

Let us start by stating in the strongest terms possible: Gold's Gym Venice is not going anywhere and will always be part of this community.

There has been a great deal of speculation about Google's planned move into the area and what that means to local businesses, including ours. Many local companies are affected by this move and are currently navigating what it means for their lease situation. We have been hard at work exploring a variety of options, including staying at our current location here at Hampton Drive (which is our primary goal) or finding a new space nearby.

Either way, please rest assured that the Mecca will ALWAYS be a part of this community and will be around for generations to come. Whether it is here or down the street, we will have a space by 2014 when our lease is up and you will still be able to workout at the Most Famous Gym in The World.

We will continue to keep you posted every step of the way. For now, please know it is business as usual and that there will be absolutely no change to the gym for the foreseeable future.
